Becky Hendricks Celebrates 20 Years at SCARC
Becky Hendricks of Stillwater celebrated her 20 anniversary at SCARC on January 3, 2009. She was hired in 1989 as Executive Secretary to Dr. Lecher, and has held the same job assignment since. Her current title of Senior Executive Assistant reflects her great value to the CEO and to the SCARC organization.
Ms. Hendrick’s long tenure has added stability to the executive administrators, and to the SCARC board of trustees at which she records the minutes of the board’s official meetings. She also organizes all of the special events at SCARC including open houses, parent meetings, board function, and assists in fund raising events such as the annual Walkathon. Dr. Lecher states, “Becky has been a most valuable employee and the right person for the job of supporting all of us at SCARC.”
FLO DIESEL CELEBRATES 20 YEARS OF EMPLOYMENT
 Dr. Richard C. Lecher, chief executive officer of SCARC, Inc. proudly announces that Florence (Flo) Diesel celebrated her 20th anniversary of employment at SCARC on February 21, 2009. Ms. Diesel joined SCARC as a program specialist in a day program in 1989, and has enjoyed a distinguished career.
Ms. Diesel started her career at SCARC as a volunteer in SCARC’s Branchville Adult Training Center. She was awarded Volunteer of the Year for the agency in 1985. After setting high standards for volunteerism, Ms. Diesel was hired in the same program in 1989.
Flo Diesel distinguished herself once again as Employee of the Year for SCARC in 2006. She has consistently displayed excellence in employment and has been a role model for many employees who have worked along side over the twenty year period. Currently, Ms. Diesel is supervisor of the Community Connections Program at Skylands Park in which she supervises six employee co-workers and oversees the program for 17 adults with developmental disabilities each day.
As a member of SCARC’s distinguished Twenty Year Club, Ms. Diesel joins other employees who have enjoyed long careers at SCARC. In addition to a cash gift and 20-year certificate, Ms. Diesel has received the applause of her fellow co-workers who have enjoyed her long career.
