SCARC ANNOUNCES JUNE EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH
JOHN GREENDYKE Lafayette Group Home
Mary Jo Smith, chief human resources officer of SCARC, Inc., proudly announces that John Greendyk of Vernon has been named Employee of the Month for June 2007. John is employed as assistant manager of SCARC’s Lafayette Group Home and has worked at SCARC since 2003.
Sharon Vreeland, Lafayette Group Home manager, says, “John is always willing to adjust his schedule to accommodate appointments and activities. He has been a blessing to all of our men who live at the home.” Kate Stefanko, director of community services, adds “John is an experienced and mature staff member and is an able manager who makes sure that our group home runs very smoothly.”
Greendyk’s duties include caring for six men with developmental disabilities who live at the home and who are integrated in to various aspects of the community. As assistant manager, Mr. Greendyk supervises other staff and assures that each of the men at the home enjoy an exciting quality of life.
In addition to accolades from his fellow employees, Mr. Greendyk will receive a cash gift and recognition by SCARC’s board of trustees. SCARC’s employee of the month program is designed to recognize excellence in employment.
