After the day program Randy was attending closed, he found a new daytime home at SCARC’s Senior Center. Several friends from Randy’s former program also attend the Senior Center. Having familiar faces around has contributed to Randy’s successful transition into a new program. He loves socializing with his peers and participating in discussions of many subjects. Randy enjoys crafts and is particularly skilled at beadwork. Several participants, including Randy, have a Recycling Club which manages the recyclables at the center. Randy’s mom, Joan, is pleased that The Senior Center can provide her son with meaningful activities that he enjoys.
