Eligible employees receive medical/prescription and dental. SCARC, Inc. assumes about 75% of the cost of this benefit. Eligibility is the first of the month after 60 days of employment and changes can be made during open enrollment or following a family – status change.
Provides coverage at two times the employee’s base salary. Eligibility is one year following date of hire.
- Long- Term Disability – Provides coverage if employee is no longer able to work due to illness or injury. Eligibility is one year following date of hire.
- AD&D – Eligible employees receive basic accidental- death- and- dismemberment coverage and can choose to purchase additional coverage.
- Accident and Critical- Illness Coverage – These are options offered to eligible employees for purchase to cover qualified critical illnesses and accidental injury to the employee or a family member.
- Workers Compensation coverage in accordance with State and Federal Law.
Pre-tax flexible spending accounts are available to reserve funds for child care or qualifying medical expenses.
SCARC contributes 4% of base wages to the employee’s 401(k) and, in addition, matches up to 3% of what the employee contributes. Eligibility for this benefit is one year following date of hire.
Earnings are automatically deposited directly into your bank account.
Eligible employees receive up to two weeks (10 days) paid benefit time prorated based on their date of hire after the completion of 90 days of employment. Staff will receive two weeks (10 days) on July 1st after their date of hire.
All eligible employees receive 12 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
Staff receive longevity awards in the amount of $500 for every 5 years of service. Staff are also regularly recognized for by organization with the Key to Success award as for being “key to our success”.
Employees may be eligible to receive a $250 bonus for the referral of candidates who are ultimately hired by SCARC and stay employed for six months.
Payment for Meals
SCARC, Inc. will assist in covering partial cost of meals for staff when they are accompanying individuals in the community.
Paid training is provided upon hire and ongoing as needed for each employee’s position.
